The client is an IT consulting professional who needed to redesign his website, which went live in 2008.
The site was regularly buggy and not adapted for small screens, and the client wanted to improve its range of services and win new customers.
I had to take care of SEO, which is a complicated matter when it comes to redesigning a site, requiring URL redirects when pages are deleted or renamed, or when new pages are created, as was the case with the client.
I suggested photos to illustrate the new services, as well as a carousel of images on the homepage with calls to action.
The main menu has been completely redesigned and a footer menu has been created.
I created a special rates page with the new services introduced by the client.
Every page of the site has been enhanced with catchphrases to get the visitor to make a decision.
I've set up a pop-up system coupled with an autoresponder that appears after a few seconds of a visit to offer a free PDF created by the customer in exchange for the visitor's e-mail address, in order to create a customer base.
This customer base will be used to communicate future offers and promotions.
